Kids Can Listen!
A bunch of great new audio books for kids came in today:

[I recommend this title VERY HIGHLY for anyone who loves baseball and fantasy, but not fantasy baseball.]

[I have not read this title, so I can not vouch for it, but it is getting lots of interest and mention. Check it out. Literally.]

Listen To This!
A new audio book (on CD) arrived today. It will only be here until mid-July when it will rotate on to the other West Marin libraries for about a year. You can always request such items, but they will not be on our browse shelf.

Audio books are a big - and growing - part of our collection. The unfortunate thing is that audio books cost a good deal more than their printed counterpart. This is especially true of books on CD. But libraries must chase after the latest technologies much the way the nouveau riche chase after the latest clothing fashions...
